Emotional Capability Profile
What it is
Excellence and success at work today depend on abilities that are not solely attributable to the cold and abstract logic of cognitive intelligence, but that refer to elements expressed through Emotional Intelligence. This influences the ability to work well in teams, recognize and manage one’s emotions, persevere in pursuing goals despite obstacles, value people’s diversity, and interpret emotional currents by enhancing positive ones and deviating counterproductive ones. Emotional Capability Profile allows participants to explore the concept of Emotional Capability, receive useful feedback on the individual development plan (survey), and allows for the enhancement of specific skills in order to improve their overall level of Emotional Capability.
Goals
The Emotional Capability Profile Workshop:
- provides support and methodological support to the leader or future leaders
- allows you to delve into the concept of “Emotional Capacity”
- helps identify strengths and areas for improvement for the development of “Emotional Capacity”
- provides comprehensive feedback on your current level of “Emotional Capacity,” and suggests personalized action plans useful for the useful development of harmonious personal and professional relationships.
Methodology
The Emotional Capability Profile survey is a 360° diagnostic tool, which provides timely feedback on the degree of Emotional Capability (compared to the perception of oneself and how others perceive us). Through detailed analysis and comments, the survey indicates strengths and areas for improvement to each participant, providing practical and personalized advice. It can be used within a workshop, or during individual and team coaching sessions. The skills and abilities that make up the Emotional Capability Profile (emerged from the survey) and which are deepened in the workshop are:
- Self Awareness (Emotional awareness, Accurate self-assessment, Self-confidence)
- Social Skills (Leadership, Influence, Communication, Change agent, Conflict management, Collaboration, Teamwork)
- Social Awareness (Empathy, Service orientation, Developing others’ potential, Appreciating diversity, Organizational awareness)
- Self Mastery (Self-control, Reliability, Conscientiousness, Adaptability, Innovation)
- Self Motivation (Achievement drive, Commitment, Initiative, Optimism)
Benefits
- Help people to best and most effectively express their skills and professional potential
- Allows constant monitoring of the competence level (repetition of the profile after 9-12 months, to measure development).
- Provides an objective basis for targeted coaching activities on emotional skills (for example where an individual is technically skilled, but is less effective in managing their emotions and/or in communication and interpersonal skills).
- Supports team building in the development of emotional intelligence (talents and future managers)
