I&G Management, in the person of Diego Ingrassia, would like to thank Performance Strategies, President Marcello Mancini and the extraordinary audience of professionals who participated in the Workshop “Straight to Yes”.
Focus of the Workshop was the multidisciplinarity linked to Persuasion. Prof. Francesco Gallucci spoke about how innovative Neuro-Marketing research increases our effectiveness in negotiation.
The valuable teachings of Robert Cialdini then helped us understand which psychological and social mechanisms direct Persuasion; Leonardo D’Urso then provided practical application examples, as an expert negotiator and trainer certified directly by Prof. Cialdini.
It is within this framework that Paul Ekman’s methodological approach of scientific research fits, guiding us to understand emotional behaviour, in order to identify emotions, attitudes, lies or credibility of our interlocutor. This methodological approach is applicable in the forensic field, in helping relationships, or in all contexts involving communication, interpersonal and professional relationships, win-win negotiation and persuasion.
The feedback gathered during the event confirms the interest in deepening how to integrate one’s professional and relational competences with new skills: a careful reading of facial expressions and micro-expressions and other communication channels through the ESaC (Emotional Skills and Competencies) and ETaC (Evaluation Truthfulness and Credibility) methodologies are a concrete response to this personal and professional need.
The scientific method, careful observation and competence will take us… “Straight to Yes!”
