StoryTelling, or the Science of Storytelling, is a methodology used to establish a profound relationship with one’s audience: one does not just want to inform them, one wants to actively involve them.
Storytelling, which has always existed in an informal way, has now become a scientific and systemic discipline that is indispensable for anyone who wants to communicate to an audience. It is a new communication paradigm that is indispensable for new leaders.
A ‘fact’ says little without the narrative that conveys it. Without a motivation and a vision, which are imprinted in my heart and stomach, the fact remains meaningless or, worse, can be interpreted for the use and consumption of those who get hold of it.
Being able to tell a story thus becomes the core competence for a successful leader.
